Mr. Mitchell is president of The Stephen Mitchell Law Group, PC, one of Chicago’s Premier Personal Injury Law Firms and the firm has won millions of dollars for its clients.  Mr. Mitchell went to Florida A&M University where he received his B.S. in Business Economics in 1994 and his M.A.S.S. in 1995. While at Florida A&M, Mr. Mitchell joined Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and H.E. Daniels Prince Hall Lodge #532.

After leaving Florida A&M, Mr. Mitchell went to the University of Wisconsin Law School and received his Doctor of Law in 1998. While at Wisconsin, Mr. Mitchell was Managing Editor of The Wisconsin Law Review and a member of The Wisconsin Moot Court Board.
 
Mr. Mitchell has served on the Board of Directors for the Cook County Bar Association, the Legal Assistance Foundation and currently serves as a Hearing Panel Chair for the Illinois Supreme Court Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission.

Mr. Mitchell has been featured in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s 40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 To Watch, Who’s Who in Black Chicago, Super Lawyers Magazine and Uptown Magazine as one of the Nation’s Top Lawyers, one of The Chicago Defender’s Men of Excellence and as one of WVON’s 40 Game Changers 40 and Under.

Mr. Mitchell is also a collector of fine art and is co-owner of Gallery Guichard, one of the nation’s most prominent art galleries.
